“We have good communications with our customers,” says owner Andrew Hernandez. “We try to get to know the customer and what they want.”
“Customer satisfaction is very important to us.” Hernandez stresses his company’s flexibility, recalling a recent project that was designed to include a mirror pool. After construction started, the customer decided on a pond instead, then later decided on no water feature at all. “We try to give the client exactly what they want.” he says.
A certified installer of Allan block walls, he is enthusiastic about mortarless walls. “First of all, you don’t have to worry about permits for most walls under 4 ft. high,” he notes. “And they resist cracks and are easy to maintain—if you need to repair them, you can do so without tearing out the whole wall. They last for years.” Hernandez recalls a 6 ft. high Europa block retaining wall he installed in Cambria several years ago, that withstood the Paso/Cambria earthquake without any damage.
